a fun weekend with visitors

My parents along with Jerrie and Jace came and spent the weekend with us! They told me a few weeks in advance that they were hoping too, but with so much going on at home i didn't really believe they were coming until i got the text from Jerrie saying they were leaving!They stopped and seen Jacob in Rock Springs and got here Friday night.

Saturday we started out with breakfast and then headed to hobby lobby! My dad stayed in the car with a sleeping Walter, and us women had so much fun we didn't come out until he called for reinforcements two hours later! After that we headed downtown were we discovered an awesome antique shop. We all had so much fun looking, and my Dad took home a beautiful dresser. Next was the quilt shop that I love to go in for ideas and we had a ton of fun in there. Finally it was time for lunch, and a trip back to the apartments to get the car ready to pick up dad's dresser! Then came ice-cream and finally after all day of Jace asking if it was time we went Swimming. Jace got braver and braver and was having so much fun. Walter was a swimming maniac he had his little arms and legs going a hundred miles an hour. At one point he was swimming with my dad and my dad's foot slipped so they both went under the water. I screamed and they came up with Walter just a grinning. We finished the night with pizza and everybody winding down. Walter had missed his second nap and was 2 hours late on dinner, so when he he was taken care of he snuggled right into grandpa for some sleep!

Everybody was planning on leaving on Sunday, but the roads had them trapped here. We hung out at the house for awhile waiting to see if they would go.When the roads weren't open at 11 and dad talked to Jullie who was feeding for him, they decided to stay the day. So we headed out to the mall where we found Santa Claus ( i will try and post the picture later) Walter screamed bloody murder and Jace asked for a knife. We enjoyed a nice dinner at red lobster headed to barnes and noble for a while which was great, and spent the night winding down. Reading with Grandma

Walter took three naps this day to get healed up from our great weekend with our visitors

Jason had left last Wednesday for a job in Craig Colorado and was supposed to be here for the weekend. As it turns out he wasn't and is actually still down there over a week later.
