Home Again

Sorry this post is a little late we didn't have internet for awhile and then have had a sick baby.  Anyways here it is... Our latest trip home to Star Valley.  Wednesday May 2nd we started out the day with an early doctors appointment where we were able to hear the heartbeat of our next little one to join our family due nov.25!  It is such a relief to hear that heartbeat it is truly an amazing experience.  After being so very sick I was so happy to know for sure it wasnt all for nothing!  We had the truck packed and ready to go to leave straight home.  After a full day of traveling it was fun to have such a surprise to share with everybody when we got there.  That night my sister had a fundraiser for  a music group she is involved in through school.  I was so impressed!  They had gone all out with decorations, hade a cake auction, a dance floor, and a few different groups from the school performing.  The biggest highlight was watching Jace's confidence grow to dance.  At first he screamed bloody murder and by the end o the night he was on the prowl. The main reason we went home was to help my dad get crops planted.  Him and my mom and worked really hard and had it downn to running the seedbedmaker over about 20 acres and the actual planting.  So thursday  morning we got everything ready loaded  a load of hay by hand, fed the cattle, checked out the new baby calf( the last holstein that will ever be born on the ranch) and then Jason tackled the leveling while my dad started the planting.  The day was rained out with all leveling down and only about 10 acres left to plant!  While we were there it kept raining so my dad finished up the next tuesday!  With the rain brought time for family, Friday we hung out at my paents house, and that evening we went to a local drive-in with my sister her two kids and my Grandma Thelma.  It was awesome.  Walter and Branson sat by eachother in booster seats and were so cute. They were all about dipping there corndogs and fires into sauces.  Walter would dip and lick his and then dip again for Branson to lick it   They were so good together, and made us all smile when they shared an ice cream cone.  Branson had us all laughing out loud when he got  abrain freeze and started hitting his forehead! Afterwards we went out and spent some time with Jasons family, which was great to see everybody.  Saturday brought more rain so My sister Jennie and her 6 kids, my sister Jullie and her 2 kids, Us with Walter, and my Mom and Jace all headed to Afton for the free Matinee.  The kids all did so great and loved watching Despicable Me on the huge screen.  And it was the perfect oppertunity to steal my newest nephew and love on him for abit while he slept.  We followed up with some fabric shopping.  My mom and Jullie and I all got stuff for new quilts and finsished off the day with a sewing afternoon.  Sunday was a relaxing day watching it rain,  I caught up on some sleep because the pregnancy and the go go go was taking its toll.  That night I had the oppertunity to attend a fireside with my mom and 2 of my sisters.  The speaker was great, and afterwards it was nice to stop and visit with some close friends.  Monday we spent a few minutes letting Walter ride horses after watching my mom almost get stuck in the calf corral ( jen that should make you laugh out loud remembering :) then we headed back home to get ready for Jason to work the next day!  Here are some pics I was terrible about taking them.
