Carving Pumpkins

We knew jason was going to have the day off, so we decided to carve our pumpkins while we knew we had him! Walter was more interested in sucking on the scotch tape than helping.. I thought he would be right in the middle of everything and eatin the guts out of the pumpkin. I was kind of glad that wasn't the case!

At first he was a bit curious, and was looking at the pumpkins and
with a little bit of coaching from mom

even put his hand inside! but he pulled it out quickly and shook it off!

While we were in the middle of carving Uncle Sterling showed up and admitted he couldn't remember the last time he carved a pumpkin. Jason had told me the same thing that morning. So we headed to the store and got Sterling a pumpkin of his own to join the fun

Walter always enjoys when his Uncle Stirfry comes to play and was excited to show him how well he can pull himself up and get into the middle of things.

Here is the finished product, a few days later I had put them in the laundry room and it was so hot they aged faster than normal. We did patterns from Toy Story, and they were a little bit time consuming. Sterling did slinky dog, jason did the alien, and the pig is mom and walter's!
