Visitors for Spring Break Part 1

Saturday March 26th
Today I met mom in Rock Springs to pick Jace and Jerrie up to visit for a few days. There was alot of are we there yets, so we was happy to pull into Cheyenne. That morning the roads were terrible between Cheyenne and Laramie, so I was glad when they cleared up for the ret of the trip. When we got here Jason had to run back to work , so he took Jace with him and gave him a ride in the big truck around the parking lot. He loved it. When they got back we went outside to play to burn off some energy.

Sunday March 27th
Sunday we did a quiet day at the house . We had woken up to snow and Jace wantd to be outside, when it melted for the most part we went out to play and left Jers babysittng. Jace was given 20 dolars he could spend on whatever he wanted and it was burning a hole in his pocket. So that afternoon we went to Target and he bought some glow in the dark swords. He had a lot of fun with them.

Jerrie's versions of babysitting.
We sent Jace out to color with sidewalk chalk, to give him some fresh air and us a break lol.

Monday March 29th

We went to the Woming State musuem, Jace loved the kids room where you could dress up. He liked being a mountain man. He really liked the display on the dinosaurs. While there he watchd a video on how the indians made arrowheads, he spent the rest of the trip trying to make one. I was surprised at how much information he picked up.

They had signs at the museum for each county. We all liked this one.

That night Jason, Jers, and Jace went swimming. It was the one thing Jace had requested to do before he came. He doesnt know how to swim and was pretty scared at first, we found him a life jacket and that gave him the confidence he needed to really have fun. All day he had talked of the water slide, but when he found out you went under the water for a second at the bottom he changed his mind. Here him and Jason are watching people go down.

Walter's swimming outfit, we had taken his swim shorts in hopes of going in but the water was way too cold. We will have plenty of time this summer when he is bigger and hopefully the water is warmer.
Earlier in the day me and Jers went and got our nails done. She wanted them for prom. I remember when Jullie was getting married all three of us went and got them done, and then when I got married we went together again to get them done. I cant believe Jerrie is big enough for us to be doing it for a special occasion for her!
