Walter's comfort items are his thumb and a blanket. So far he hasn't picked a certain blanket, but he won't go to sleep until he can grab the blanket with his RIGHT hand and rub it on his cheek and then sucks his LEFT thumb. it's really cute.
Right now when Walter falls asleep it is also with his right arm across his eyes.
