Walter had his 4 month appointment today were he weighed in at 15lbs 13oz and 25 inches long! He is still averaging about an ounce a day! The doctor was very pleased with his development and said he is a little ahead on some skills.
- He has excellent control of his hands!
- She was very impressed with what a chatterbox he is!
- Said it was great that he is rolling over both ways
- Said his neck is very strong
- And she loved when she talked to him and he started laughing
While we were there she noticed he has a "click" in his hip, so we had to do x-rays. By this point Walter was tired and didn't want to cooperate, he defeinetly made us work to get the x-rays and they still weren't great but good enough! We will hear back more on those after a specialist looks at them. From what I understand its not that unusual, but if caught and taken care of now its not too serious but if not found until his bones are finished developed than it can be serious. So we will see. After all of this he fell asleep in my arms, just to be woken up by a prick on his toe ( to do some blood work on his red blood cells due to being preemie) And man did he lt the nurses know he was mad, He really got to screaming, talk about break a moms heart. And then it was time for his shots, so needless to say a rough trip to the doctors! I nursed him there and when we got home he was very tired he never really got a nap, so he is currently passed out in his bed with a little help from tylenol. Man I love this little guy, he is the boss of our house and I am fine with it. Its pretty amazing to have something so special for Me and Jason's worlds to revolve around.

Ha Ha so funny, Van went in today and weighed in at 15 lbs 2 oz!~! Glad Walter is doing so good! love and miss ya
